you call or email, kindly read the following:
General Information
About Our Order Processing
Please keep
in mind that ordering from United Nuclear Scientific Supplies is not
like shopping other on-line stores. United Nuclear Scientific Supplies,
LLC. is a small, privately owned company.
There are a few things you should
be familiar with when dealing with us:
1.
Although we sell retail scientific
supplies, we are primarily a research & development company that
does confidential prototype & Government contract work. Our
Government/contract work takes priority over our retail sales.
2. We
carry a wide range of difficult to find scientific items. Many of the
products we sell are not always available. Many of our popular, rare
& difficult to obtain items sell out very quickly - and may not be
restocked again for some time. It is for this reason that we ship
all orders on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.
Many of our products are manufactured by us, by our own craftsman
and technicians.
4. Our
chemical packaging is not automated and is done by individually, by
hand.
5. We
do not maintain a large stock of our items - many of our more complex
items are fabricated to order.
6. Orders
(depending on size) can take from several days to weeks to process. The
vast majority of orders are shipped out within a few days.
7. Military
& Government orders take priority over standard orders. If we are
busy filling a large Military or Government order when you made a
purchase, your order may be delayed until it is complete.
9. During
busy times of the year (just before & after Christmas, etc.) order
processing can take considerably longer than 2 weeks.
If we get backlogged with orders, it could take several weeks to get to
yours. We try our
best to fill all
orders as quickly and accurately as possible.
10. We will not
sacrifice product quality for faster turn-around time.
11.
We cannot guarantee delivery
dates. If you require expedited order processing or are on a tight time
schedule, you might be better off shopping
elsewhere. We certainly would
appreciate your business, but we must fill all orders on a first-come,
first-served basis. We cannot push back someone's order to accommodate
yours.
12. We
get a large number of packages returned to us with wrong addresses. Make
sure you have supplied us with your correct shipping address.
13. If
your package is returned to us because you supplied the wrong address or
weren't around to receive it, you will have to pay for shipping again
for it to be sent to another address. If you choose not to, your
original order will be refunded minus your original shipping charges. We
get charged for every time we ship a package, and so will you.
14. A
fair number of emails we respond to are bounced back by certain ISPs or
get lost in customer's spam filters. If there is a problem with your
order and you did not supply us with a phone number (and we have been
unable to contact you via email) your order may sit here in limbo
forever. To avoid possible delays, please give us a
phone number. We will only contact you if necessary.
15. We will not give
your phone number or any personal information to anyone without a court
order.
16.
If more than 14 days has gone by since we received your
payment, and you haven't received your order, we'll be happy to check on
it for you. Please email
Customer Support at: nuclearsupport@lobo.net
with all your order information (the most important being the date the
order was placed and the name the order was placed under). We do not use
the PayPal transaction numbers or any other order numbers. All orders
are located by date and name only.
