This is  the new generation Phosphorescent (Glow in the Dark) material in pure powder form.
Europium UltraGlow® is currently the brightest, longest lasting, non-toxic glow-in-the-dark material known.
This is not the old Zinc Sulfide based material that's commonly found in the typical glow in the dark items and glow-in-the-dark paints. As you know, that material only glows for about an hour or so after being exposed to light.

Our phosphorescent powder is doped with the element Europium, along with other rare earth elements that give it an astonishing glow time of over 12 hours!

It is both non-radioactive and non-toxic.

Europium UltraGlow® powder can be mixed or melted with anything from clear paint, to wax, plastic, nail polish, gel, Sculpey Clay, etc. A formula sheet for preparing a variety of glow-in-the-dark products is included. Several large manufacturers purchase this material from us in gigantic quantities to produce a variety of unique glow items from paint to candles.
It can be recharged indefinitely just by holding it under bright light.
Europium UltraGlow® powder is highly heat resistant. It can be mixed with glaze and fired in a kiln to make pottery and other ceramic items. Its temperature limit is about 1,200°F.

Sunlight, ordinary indoor lighting (incandescent or fluorescent) as well as UV (blacklight) can be used to "charge up" Europium UltraGlow® powder. The excitation wavelength is approximately 200-450nm, with the higher UV wavelengths (400-450nm) producing faster charging time. For absolute maximum charge, expose to bright sunlight or UV (ultraviolet) light for 5 minutes.

In daylight, the Green and Aqua Europium UltraGlow® powders are a pale yellow/green in color and the Blue is an off-white.
 As shown in the chart to the left, the Green powder glows the brightest and is about twice as bright as the Blue.
Aqua powder glows significantly brighter than then Blue, but it's not quite as bright as the Green. Keep in mind that the Human eye is much more sensitive to the color Green which makes it always appear brighter.
All colors will produce a visible glow for well over 12 hours.

Europium UltraGlow Paint

Europium UltraGlow is a rare-Earth Europium based glow-in-the-dark paint. Based on our Europium UltraGlow powder, it is the brightest, longest lasting, non-toxic glow-in-the-dark paint known.

   When dry, UltraGlow paint is permanent, water resistant, and if used on fabric, it is completely machine washable. The bottle has a convenient fine-point applicator tip which allows you to draw directly onto T-Shirts, Sign Poster board, Metal, etc.    The applicator may be removed for cleaning simply by pulling it out with a pliers.
   Simply Expose UltraGlow paint to Sunlight (or bright light) for at least one full minute to activate the green phosphorescent glow. The longer it is exposed, the longer and brighter the afterglow will be. UltraGlow reaches it maximum 'charge' in about 5 minutes of bright white light. UV light (Blacklight) will charge the material up about twice as fast. Of course, UltraGlow also glows quite brilliantly under UV light (Blacklight).
   Fully dries in about 24 hours and is both Non Toxic & Non Radioactive.
In daylight, the paint itself is pale yellow in color.

Europium UltraGlow is only available in GREEN glow at this time.
