UV & IR Inserts
Convert your existing 3-cell flashlight to Infrared or Ultraviolet

but they all basically have a similar configuration to
what is pictured above.

Instantly convert your existing 3 D-cell MagliteŽ flashlight into a UV or Infrared flashlight! Nothing is permanently changed on the flashlight and it can be returned back to its original state in just a few minutes.
Simply unscrew the lens cover on your flashlight, remove the bulb, and insert the UV or IR emitter board. That's it!
The UV insert contains 32 high power 390 nm UV LEDs. The IR insert contains 29 high power 940 nm IR LEDs. These are the same 'Super-Prime' UV and IR LEDs that are used in our award winning NOVA-UV and NOVA-IR flashlights.
Unlike inexpensive IR flashlights that emit some visible red light, the light emitted by our IR LEDs is pure Infrared - it is completely invisible to the Human eye.

These inserts operate at 4.5 volts - they will not work in 2 or 4 cell flashlights.
