These
vintage gigantic prisms are fabricated from top quality Optical grade
glass and are over 80 years old.
They measure 2" along the hypotenuse and at almost 6"
inches long, they are probably the largest glass prisms you'll ever come
across.
Perfect for use in Laser & optics experiments
or even in the high quality needs of a periscope. These are NOT
the typical low quality 'student grade' prisms with a low index of
refraction - they are crystal clear, top quality Optical grade glass
prisms.
Although these prisms are over 80 years old, they are in excellent
shape.
There may be tiny nick/chip/scratch on the frosted ends or corners,
but they will not affect the performance in any way and are virtually unnoticeable.
You will not be disappointed in the quality of these prisms.
These days, prisms of this size and optical quality would cost hundreds
of dollars.
