Powered by 108 super high output IR LEDs, the NOVA·IR® EXTREME delivers a tremendously powerful beam of Infrared light.  This Infrared light is unlike any other.
This unit emits pure, invisible infrared light at a wavelength of 930nm - 980nm.

Buyer Beware! Inexpensive IR lights will produce visible, dim red glows at night - a dead giveaway. The NOVA·IR® EXTREME produces absolutely pure infrared light.
It emits -NO- visible light at all.

Only specially selected "super prime" IR LEDs are used in this unit. Advanced circuitry limits current draw, and evenly balances the light output of all 29 emitters. The high impact flashlight body is  virtually indestructible and able to withstand daily industrial use.
This is a quality professional instrument... and is certainly no toy.
Ideal for Night Vision Equipment, Law Enforcement, Laboratory/Research, or other professional use where an intense source of 930nm - 980nm IR light is required in a portable, highly dependable unit.
Far superior to older incandescent infrared lights. Modern IR L.E.D. emitters have no filament to burn out and are immune to impact & vibration problems that plague standard IR light sources. The infrared L.E.D. emitters used in this unit essentially never need replacing - their operational life is expected to exceed 70,000 hours. 

  • Advanced digital circuitry monitors & maintains a constant current to all 108 IR emitters, providing an even, balanced light output as the battery discharges. 
  • RECHARGEABLE! - The unit is powered by a maintenance free, 6 volt 4 amp hour sealed lead-acid battery. This is twice the capacity of our previous NOVA-UV light. The NOVA·IR® EXTREME contains a built-in charger for recharging on standard 110v AC power, AND a separate 12v DC charger for recharging the unit in your vehicle.
  • Ruggedized - Everything from the O-ring sealed lens to the circuit boards have been designed to take the abuse found in industrial settings.
  • Built-in White Area Light - No need to carry a separate flashlight for instant access to white light. 
  • Charge Indicator -  Red LED charge indicator lights to show the unit is charging, flashing LED indicates unit is fully charged.
  • Ideal for law enforcement, laboratory/research, or other professional use where an intense source of IR light is required in a portable, highly dependable unit.

A built-in white LED utility light eliminates the need to carry a separate flashlight while working in the dark.

With the push of a button, the IR emitter head
swings up and can be locked into any position.
