Large Uranium Metal Samples

Odd-shaped pieces of high purity Uranium238 metal.
Ideal for element collectors or conducting experiments with genuine Uranium metal.
Please note that Uranium is a very hard metal and is very difficult to cut or machine.

Caution: Cutting, grinding, filing, or machining in any way may produce small particles that ignite on contact with air producing dangerous radioactive smoke.
Finely divided Uranium particles can ignite spontaneously.

These larger Uranium metal pieces are vacuum sealed in a plastic pouch under low pressure Argon gas to prevent any additional oxidation of the Uranium metal.

An MSDS sheet and general information about Uranium metal is included with each sample.
